Terms of use

The basic agreement for family coordination, accounts and optional membership.

Updated 2026-10-28

1. Service and agreement

FamilyMate provides family schedules, confirmations, timers and reward records. Updated and effective: 2026-10-28. Read these terms and the privacy policy before using the service. Availability can differ by device, role and deployment.

2. Accounts and families

Provide information you are authorized to use and protect sign-in credentials. Obtain the necessary permission from family members or guardians before creating, inviting or linking accounts. Do not impersonate people, bypass access rules, misuse invitations or interfere with the service. The server determines actual permissions; seeing a control does not grant permission.

Family creators and authorized managers should manage invitations, child profiles and schedules carefully. A child’s proposal requires parental confirmation before it becomes a schedule; this product workflow does not replace legal guardianship duties or consent.

3. Content and everyday use

You retain the rights you legally hold in your content and grant the processing permission necessary to store, display and synchronize it and provide the requested functions. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, privacy-infringing or intellectual-property-infringing content.

FamilyMate is a coordination tool, not an emergency-response, safeguarding, medical or financial service. Reminders depend on devices, system permissions, connectivity and synchronization and are not guaranteed to sound on time. Offline content may be outdated; pending actions and rewards require server confirmation. Keep other arrangements for important reminders and communication.

Points and the time bank are family records, not cash, deposits or financial accounts. They cannot be redeemed for legal tender from the operator. Families define their own rewards. Optional activities do not require a time-bank redemption.

4. Optional membership, renewal and restoration

Membership is offered only where an actual product catalog and your permissions allow it. Before purchasing, check benefits, beneficiary family, duration, actual localized total price and any trial conditions. This website does not promise fixed prices or that all features will remain free.

For Apple purchases, payment and auto-renewal follow Apple’s confirmation screen and applicable rules. A subscription may renew unless canceled before the current billing period ends. Lifetime membership is a one-time product and does not cancel an existing monthly or yearly subscription; its scope is the product description at purchase.

Restoration checks the original transaction and beneficiary family, not the family currently selected on a screen. Removing the app, leaving a family or deleting an account does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions. Apple and applicable consumer-protection rules determine refund eligibility; we do not guarantee approval.

5. Changes, stopping use and statutory rights

You may stop using the service, leave a family or request account deletion through the available flow. Cleanup and necessary retention follow the privacy policy and deletion preview. We may restrict service for security, legal obligations or misuse and communicate important functional or terms changes appropriately.

These terms do not exclude non-excludable rights under applicable consumer law. An iOS app distributed through the App Store is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA unless a custom license is provided. Service use and information handling also follow these terms and the privacy policy.
