Sign in and open the app

FamilyMate is available on the web and as a native app for iPhone and iPad. Sign in with a FamilyMate account. You will see only family information your account is allowed to access.

  1. Open FamilyMate on the web or in the native app, then sign in or follow the prompts to create an account.
  2. If email verification is required, complete it before creating an account or family.
  3. Open “Me” to find your profile, family options, and features available to your role.

Understand family roles

Parents manage the family, children, and schedules. Children see their own schedules, can submit schedules for parent confirmation, and use available rewards. Collaborators see adult plans and transport tasks assigned to them. The server determines each role’s permissions.

  • Parents can manage child profiles, the holiday calendar, confirmations, and family members.
  • Children can access only information linked to them; a new schedule takes effect only after a parent confirms it.
  • Collaborators can manage their own adult plans and update transport progress assigned to them.

Switch families and language

Whether signed in or out, the Web app places Schedule and Me above the centered content on desktop and fixes them to the bottom of the screen on phones. While signed out, you can browse empty schedules, switch pages and adjust appearance; actions requiring family or account access prompt you to sign in.

Family data and access are kept separate. Adults can find family management and family selection under “Me”; children do not see family management. On mobile, appearance and language settings are also under “Me”.

  1. As an adult, open family management or family selection from “Me”, then choose a family you can access.
  2. Choose Chinese or English under “Me → Appearance & language”; the web page also has a language selector.
  3. If a feature is missing, check the selected family, your account role, and your network connection.
