Family membership

Access and product catalog

Family membership appears in the native app according to account permissions. Children cannot buy; an adult also needs server-confirmed purchase permission. The catalog may be empty or unavailable. Check the current in-app catalog and Apple confirmation screen for available products and prices.

Family limits

A free family can have one active child profile and five draft or active schedules; member families are not subject to these two limits. Configuration remains editable at the limit. If membership expires while the family is over its limit, related configuration edits pause until the family is brought back within its limits.

Purchase and beneficiary family

Check the beneficiary family before purchasing. Switching the currently selected family after a purchase starts does not change its beneficiary. Apple must verify the transaction and the server must confirm delivery before the app shows it as successful.

1. In the native app, open “Me → Family membership” and review access and the catalog.
2. If you have purchase permission and products are available, select one and verify the beneficiary family.
3. Complete the purchase in Apple’s system sheet, then check verification and delivery status in the app.

Restore purchases and manage subscriptions

Restore purchases verifies the original Apple transaction; it does not reassign an old purchase to the currently selected family. A permanent membership does not automatically cancel an existing monthly or yearly subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple subscription management if needed.

1. Use Restore purchases on the membership page and wait for Apple and server verification.
2. Check membership status for the family associated with the original transaction; do not purchase again before success is confirmed.
3. To stop auto-renewal, open Apple subscription management in system settings.
